Next Man Up: Thursday Night Edition
Next Man Up is a weekly report that details the injuries for the upcoming games. This is the Thursday Night Football Edition for:
Jacksonville Jaguars vs Tennessee Titans in London
-TE Julius Thomas has been limited in practice and is questionable to be ready for TNF with an ankle injury. Marcedes Lewis would start over him if he is out and will play a bigger role in the disastrous offense.
-DE Jared Odrick did not practice ahead of Thursday's game with a quad injury. Dante Fowler Jr could see a bigger role.
-WR Allen Hurns (shoulder) is fully practicing again and is off the injury report and will play. He is becoming jaguar's leading receiver, outplaying Allen Robinson.
-T Kelvin Beachum is fully practicing and his knee seems to be healed.
-CB Prince Amukamara is practicing in full again after suffering a knee injury. In case of a setback, which is common, Aaron Colvin is also healthy and would start.
-DT Roy Miller did not practice after suffering a torn Achilles tendon and is now on IR. Abry Jones will get the start, his first since 2014.
-RB DeMarco Murray was back in full practice after one day of rest. With a short turn around until TNF, the team is resting their star running back and he may share snaps with Derrick Henry.
-TE Delanie Walker practiced in full and is off the injury report as he has healed from his chest injury. He is facing a great matchup vs JAX
-CB Perrish Cox did not practice as he is dealing with a concussion and is out for Thursday. Brice McCain will get an expanded role in result.
-S Rashard Johnson (neck) is out for Thursday night. Kevin Byard will get the start.
-G Quinton Spain (knee) is ruled out for TNF. Sebastian Tretola will start.
-WR Tajae Sharpe (knee) was limited in practice and questionable. While he should play, Andre Johnson and Kendall Wright may see more snaps.
