A brief summary.
The Dallas Cowboys will likely go after a top wide receiver in the first round of this year's NFL Draft, due to fan pressure.
Dez Bryant hasn't performed well in two years and left some critics wondering if he is still a top wide receiver.
To me, this feels like a splash year for the Cowboys. After a season with high expectations, the offense couldn’t seem to get anything going.
We, of course, went 9-7. A “technical” winning season. Although, I don't consider a season with under ten wins a winning season. A 9-7 season to me is the same thing as an 8-8 season.
I think the Cowboys will make a splash in this year's NFL Draft, and go after the number one wide receiver.
Who will be the number one wide receiver?
I don't know. It could be Courtland Sutton. It could be Calvin Ridley. However, it's too soon to tell who will be the number one WR.
In concerns to this year's wide receiver class, it's close. However, the Cowboys would have to provide a lot to be able to select one of those two.
The Dallas Cowboys pick at number nineteen.
Clearly, a wide out like Calvin Ridley, would be expensive.
