Back-Up QB Shines?

Illinois back up sophomore QB, Chayce Crouch played phenomenal last week against Purdue, but unfortunately cost them the game by fumbling in overtime. He said after the game that "he's not happy." I love how competitive he is, and how much he wants to win. With Wes Lunt going down last week with a back injury, Crouch is showcasing some of the future. Showing why he should start next year. Crouch fits more of the Illinois offense. Read option, mobile QB. Lunt is a pocket passer that doesn't use his feet often. Last week, Crouch had 157 yards passing and 151 yards rushing and 2 touchdowns. He looks to have a similar game today against Rutgers.

Prediction: Illinois 24 Rutgers 20
