?-This was a game the Miami Heat needed.

-It doesn't matter that LeBron and Kyrie didn't play tonight. This was about the Heat taking care of business.

-And staying close to Detriot, who won earlier tonight against Philly.

-Now, Miami is going to face this same Cavaliers team in Cleveland. With Kyrie and LeBron waiting.

-The defensive start looked very similar to last night's start. The Cavs were getting easy buckets without little resistance.

-Both teams put up 35 points in the first quarter.Cavs shot 68 percent from the field.

-The Heat then picked up their defensive intensity and took a 17 point lead going to the half.

-The threes were also falling for Miami in the first half. As a team, they made 11 threes, tying the franchise record for the half. Babbitt and Wayne Ellington both had 3 each.

-Great night for Hassan Whiteside tonight. He finished with another double double. This time making a impact with the numbers.

-Looks like Josh Richardson is getting closer to the player he was before the injury. He had a big block on Richard Jefferson in the second quarter.

-After a slow start in the first half, Waiters got a couple of shots to go down in the third period. Unlike last night, he was taking better shots.

-This isn't the first time LeBron James has sat out on the second night of a back to back. The Cavs next visit in Miami- April 10 - is like this one, 2nd half of back to back with Atlanta. So it's possible he could miss that one too.

-J.R.Smith apparently was not happy about a late shove by Rodney McGruder during this play.

-Waiters and JR also had a share of bad words between them.

-Monday's rematch should be fun.
