​-Vancouver Canucks GM Jim Benning says he is still looking to sign a top 6 forward on the market. It'll be tough at this point to find one due to the fact that the free agent market has already seen most of the top players gone already.  

-Toronto Maple Leafs head coach Mike Babcock says that top prospect Mitch Marner has a "good chance" at making the team out of training camp. Marner was the 4th overall pick in the 2015 NHL draft. 

-Penguins defenseman Kris Letang talked about his feelings towards winning his second Stanley Cup, and still being able to make several comebacks from scary injuries such as a stroke and several concussions. "Enjoyed proving I could reach another level". Letang said. 

-Newly acquired Rangers forward Mika Zibanajed appears ready to make the next step in his first season as a Ranger. "I'm ready for that breakout year" said Zibanajed". He was acquired from the Senators in the Derrick Brassard trade last month. 

-Former NHL Defenseman Aaron Rome is suing the NHL for denying disability after Rome suffered a career-ending hip injury.
