Texans tied at the half

The Houston Texans started the game with a 32 yard field goal from Kicker Nick Novak after a reception for a touchdown by  was ruled out of bounds before he got to the end zone. The Texans took the lead with just 8:34 left to go in the first quarter, using a total of 6:26 on the opening drive. The Texans wouldn't score for the rest of the quarter and the first quarter would end with the Texans down 10-3.

Hopkins in the first half of play has three receptions for 41 yards, with his longest reception of the game so far being 24 yards. Meanwhile, Osweiler caught a pass that was deflected by the defense for negative six yards.

In the second quarter, the Texans came out with a sense of urgency. It definitely showed when Texans ran what was supposed to be a 34 yard touchdown. But, once again, the referee's overturned their original call of the play and put the ball at the one yard line. Houston Texans ended up throwing a 12 yard touchdown to to tie the game with a score of 10-10.

Lamar Miller has 12 rushes in the first half for 63 yards, averaging 5.3 yards per carry and having a 33 yard rush his biggest of the game so far. Osweiler is 11 for 18 with 108 yards and one touchdown and one interception in the game for a quarterback rating of 73.4. Braxton Miller has one rush in the game for one yard. He also has two catches for 13 yards and one touchdown, with his longest reception being 12 yards.

Halftime came and the score would be still 10-10. The Texans will be kicking off to start the second half.
