Who to Play in Week 4 Fantasy?
Who to Play in Week 4 Fantasy?
Cam Newton – Carolina @ Tampa Bay
Cam Newton had an excellent Week 3 vs. New Orleans. He finished the game with 315 Passing Yards with 2 Touchdowns. Also he added 33 Rushing Yards with 1 Touchdown. This was another good showing for Newton as he is solidifying himself as an elite quarterback. Newton has put together back to back monster weeks and I expect it to continue this week. He has a favorable matchup against Tampa Bay who doesn’t have the best secondary. Newton has been smarter with the ball and is not making as many mistakes like he used too. I expect a huge game from Newton and he should definitely be starting in your lineup this week.
Prediction - 337 Passing Yards, 3 Touchdowns, 1 Interception/ 37 Rushing Yards, 1 Touchdown
Tyrod Taylor – Buffalo vs. NY Giants
Tyrod Taylor had another good week of football against the Miami Dolphins. He finished the contest with 277 Passing Yards with 3 Touchdowns and 0 Interceptions. Coming into this year Miami was considered one of the best defenses but they didn’t play like it in Week 3. Taylor is playing very well and should be considered as your starter every week and he also has very good trade value to someone in need of a quarterback. Taylor is going up against the Giants in Week 4 and I think his hot start to the season will continue. I expect to him to pick apart the Giants beat up secondary and he should be on his way to another good game.
Prediction - 314 Passing Yards, 2 Touchdowns/43 Rushing Yards, 1 Touchdown
Karlos Williams – Buffalo vs. NY Giants
Karlos Williams is playing very well for a backup this year. Week 3 was another good game for Williams and I expect things to continue. In Week 3 he ended with 12 Rushes for 110 Rushing Yards and 1 Touchdown. Since McCoy isn’t playing in Week 4, Williams is going to get most of the carries and he should definitely capitalize on them. Williams is going up against the Giants in Week 4 and I expect him to run all over them. He has played well as a backup so far but I think he will play even better now that he is given a chance. I think Williams is going to have the best game of his season on Sunday.
Prediction – 128 Rushing Yards, 2 Touchdowns
Melvin Gordon – San Diego vs. Cleveland
Melvin Gordon has been mediocre this year and isn’t impressing anyone thus far. He had another disappointing game in Week 3 rushing the ball 14 times for 51 Rushing Yards. In 3 games this year Gordon has failed to reach 100 Rushing Yards in all 3. I expect things to turn around in Week 4 against Cleveland. Cleveland has been terrible against the run this year and I expect Gordon to finally have a big game this year. This week will be Gordon’s coming out party.
Prediction - 115 Rushing Yards, 1 Touchdown
T.Y. Hilton – Indianapolis vs. Jacksonville
T.Y. Hilton has had a disappointing 2015 campaign. Week 3 he finished with the most yards on the team with 94 yards on 4 Receptions. Hilton goes up against Jacksonville in Week 4 and I expect him to have a big game. Even if Andrew Luck doesn’t play I still think Hilton will have a good game. Hasselbeck isn’t the worst back up and I think he will lean on Hilton if Luck doesn’t play. Jacksonville doesn’t have the best defense and containing Hilton, Johnson, and Moncrief will be a challenge and I think Hilton will definitely benefit from this matchup.
Prediction – 8 Receptions, 89 Receiving Yards, 1 Touchdown
James Jones - Green Bay @ San Francisco
James Jones has put together a very good 2015 season after a disappointing 2014 season. In Week 3 he finished with 7 Receptions, 139 Receiving Yards and 1 Touchdown. Jones has now scored in every game so far this season and I expect that to continue in Week 4. San Francisco is coming off a Week 3 game where their secondary let Larry Fitzgerald catch 9 balls for 134 Receiving Yards and score 2 times. With Davante Adams most likely out for Week 4 expect James Jones to fill in just like he did against Kansas City in Week 3. Jones has been one of Aaron Rodgers’ favorite targets this season and he has been looking for Jones on a lot of deep balls. Jones has been reliable this season and it should continue against San Francisco.
Prediction – 6 Receptions, 94 Receiving Yards, 1 Touchdown
Jason Witten – Dallas @ New Orleans
Jason Witten is having a decent season so far and he had a pretty good Week 3. Witten finished with 6 Receptions for 65 Receiving Yards. Witten is going up against New Orleans in Week 4 and they haven’t been the best defensively. New Orleans is coming off a game where they let Greg Olsen have a field day. Olsen finished with 134 Receiving Yards and 2 Touchdowns. Even with Romo out whoever is quarterback for Dallas on Sunday should lean on Witten. I think Witten will be targeted a lot which will lead to a big game for him.
Prediction – 7 Receptions, 74 Receiving Yards, 1 Touchdown
Richard Rodgers – Green Bay @ San Francisco
Richard Rodgers didn’t have the best game in Week 3. He finished with 2 Receptions for 15 Receiving Yards. Rodgers should see an increase in playing time with Andrew Quarless out with an injury. With an increase in playing time he should see more targets. Rodgers has been playing well so far and should have a good game against a shaky defense in San Francisco. With Adams hurt there will be more targets available for all the Packers receivers so expect to see Rodgers incorporated more in the offense.
Prediction – 5 Receptions, 57 Receiving Yards, 1 Touchdown
Brandon McManus – Denver vs. Minnesota
Brandon McManus has been very good all year for Denver and in Week 3 it was no different. He finished perfect on the day going 3/3 on XP and 1/1 on FG with his long being 48 Yards. Denver has been playing well of late and I think the strong play will continue this week resulting in a good game from Brandon McManus. McManus has power so he can kick 50+ field goals so he becomes an option for the Broncos as soon as they hit the opponents 40.
Prediction – 3/3 XP, 3/3 FG, Long – 54 Yards
Cardinals – Arizona vs. St. Louis
Arizona has been very good defensively this year and things should continue in Week 4 against St. Louis. In Week 3 Arizona forced back to back Interceptions returned for touchdowns. I expect Arizona to get to the quarterback and force turnovers against Nick Foles. Foles tends to make mistakes as the pressure gets to him so with Calais Campbell and the D-line putting pressure expect Tyrann Mathieu and company to feast on his mistakes.
Prediction – 3 Interceptions, 1 Forced Fumble, 5 Sacks, 1 Defensive Touchdown
