Into the Sunset
Tom Brady, the greatest quarterback(and arguably, player) in the history of the National Football League, has decided to retire following his Superbowl 51 victory. His 5 Super Bowl wins are the most ever by a quarterback, and tied for most by any player with former 49ers/Cowboys Hall of Famer Charles Haley.
He retires with an impressive stat line - he is the winning-est QB of NFL history, with a total 208 career wins. He has a career 63.8 completion percentage, 61,582 yards, 457 touchdowns and a 97.2 quarterback rating. It is hard enough to win a Super Bowl, but to put the team on your back and orchestrate a 25 point come back against one of the fastest defenses seen in a long time is impressive, to say the least. If there was any doubt before the game that he was the greatest of all time, they must surely be erased now.
