Two losing season were enough for the Glazer family...

Lovie Smith was sent packing from his gig as head coach of the Tampa Bay Bucs...

Team Co-chairman Joel Glazer released this statement:

“After careful consideration, we informed Lovie that we have decided to make a change. I want to thank Lovie for his hard work and dedication to the Buccaneers during his time here. This decision was difficult on a variety of levels. I am disappointed that we were not more successful these past few seasons, but we are committed to doing what is necessary to give our fans the winning team they deserve. As we move forward, General Manager Jason Licht will oversee the process for finding our next head coach.”

This is stupid, we can't even have a consistent coach, 3 coaches in 5 yrs

feels that the possible departure of OC Dirk Koetter may have been the last part of the equation to get Smith dismissed. The team went from 2-14 to 6-10 in his second year and the new coach will be the fourth the franchise has had since the 2011 season.

There was reason for optimism with pieces on offense like QB Jameis Winston, WR Mike Evans, and RB Doug Martin, but the team stats were all over the place: top 10 in total offense and defense, but ranked 20th in points, and 26th in scoring defense. The Bucs lost their last four games to fizzle out in the season...

So, you tell us where they were as a team...???
