The City of Glendale voted 7-0 to approve the new arena deal with their primary tenant, the Arizona Coyotes...

And the HQ can't really tell if the Coyotes and their IceArizona ownership are pleased or just accepting of their current place in the Phoenix suburbs.

The new deal means that the city, apparently, can save $2-million a year and Glendale would pay the Coyotes $6.5 million to manage the arena in each of the next two years instead of $15-million. The Coyotes would keep roughly $6 million in formerly shared ticket, parking and naming-rights revenue.

Anthony LeBlanc addressed the particulars at the City Council meeting this morning

So, Seattle... or Scottsdale... or downtown Phoenix...

You now have two years to get your arena deal in order- whether it's downtown or in the suburbs...
