University of Georgia Head Football Coach-In-Waning Mark Richt had a Monday press conference with UGA AD Greg McGarity where he addressed his dismissal and McGarity said a whole lot of nothing...

Here's what went down this morning...

Tom Herman, for now, is still the head coach at the University of Houston. But he's the first person to tell you that anything is in play- even as his salary is more than doubled and the facilities have been promised a SERIOUS upgrade on campus at UH after this year's serious turnaround.

Herman, for those unaware, was in charge of southern recruiting when he was at Ohio State- thus his interest in UGA and not South Carolina. Herman, it was thought, was interested in the Texas and/or Texas A&M openings when they become available. But, now, he seems ready to go high-profile quickly...

Dan Mullen's name is being floated because of the relationship he had with McGarity at Florida- and his interest would depend on how much longer he would be interested in being a second-fiddle in the state of Mississippi when it comes to college football.

It's the HQ's thought that McGarity should just back up the Brinks truck to Kirby Smart and go from there...
