Ooops! The New Mexico basketball team may not live Saturday nights loss down for awhile because it is just plain something that is hard to do.

Mind you it doesn't even include losing after holding a 16 point lead with under 7 minutes left. No, this was much worse.

Lobos forward Tim Williams got a technical foul with 0.1 seconds left in their game versus Rice with the game tied at 89. Williams got T'd up after grabbing a loose ball and trying to call a timeout.

The timeout New Mexico didn't have and didn't mean to call that cost it the game vs. Rice. Technical foul.

Problem was, New Mexico didn't have a time out left to call. Which Williams realized--but not until after the referees acknowledged the timeout call.

The result: A Technical foul.

Rice got a free throw and Egor Koulechov drained it giving Rice the 90-89 comeback win.

Game highlights with totally unnecessary music and omitting the painful end of the game from LoboTV:
