NHL Expansion Bids From Vegas And Quebec City, Not Seattle...

Quebec City was an easy one... Las Vegas was an easy one... but neither Seattle group decided to send in a bid. Victor Coleman's group that wants to be downtown and Ray Bartoszek's group developing the arena in the Tukwila suburbs didn't send in their $10-million check.
Thoughts are up north, from folks like Sportsnet's Chris Johnston, that Quebec City is an easy second...

NHL’s deputy commissioner Bill Daly said back in June that the 2017-18 season would be the earliest any expansion might occur since they might have to re-jigger divisions and conference make-up if one of the accepted bids is from the east.
Billionaire businessman Bill Foley says he has filed his application for an NHL expansion franchise.
"NHL application filed and deposit wired. Applicant is Black Knight Sports and Entertainment LLC," Foley said in a text today to News 3’s Amber Dixon.
