The last we heard from New Jersey Institute of Technology was back in early December when the Highlanders shocked the Michigan Wolverines in Ann Arbor 72-70.

Perhaps NJIT used up their 15 minutes of fame.

The Highlanders finished 18-11 on the season and have won seven in a row so maybe not.

NJIT begins their post season tournament run.

No you didn’t overlook the Highlanders in your NCAA Tournament pool. The NIT passed on NJIT and the CBI? Is it still alive?

The post season tournament selected NJIT and open play Monday night hosting New Hampshire.

"I am so excited for the players in our program to have a chance to experience 'March Madness' in the CIT," NJIT head coach Jim Engles said.

Let’s not call it March Madness in the CIT. The attorneys that are retained by the NCAA might frown upon that.

It’s a big deal on the NJIT campus in Newark, NJ. All 1,500 seats of the Fleisher Athletic Center will be filled.

If you have an CIT office pool (and I’m sure there are some out there) how far to you ride NJIT?
