If you closed your eyes and watched the finals of this years 1st Tennis Major---The Australian Open--you'd swear you were watching and listening to something straight out of 2007.

Two of the greatest tennis players this century--Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal squared off and played what could only be called and absolutely epic match.

The 35-year old Federer got the 5 set win over his friend and rival Nadal in a grueling, hard fought battle that ended on a reviewed call....

The win was Federer's 18th Grand Slam title in a career that has seemingly lasted an eternity in professional sports time. Neither he or Nadal were the top seeds in this event as the younger generation have begun taking over from these two longtime friends.

Sunday morning reminded us just how great these two are. And don't think for a minute it didn't mean a ton to either man.

HE’S DONE IT! ????
