Oh how we Sports Bloggers love teams in perpetual turmoil like Washington's NFL team.

Just a couple days after saying head coach Jay Gruden would return for his second season with the team, Gruden announced he wanted to keep his embattled defensive coordinator Jim Haslett.

This despite the team finishing at or near the bottom in almost every defensive statistic. And...with several former players calling Haslett out for not knowing how to do his job.

Well, just days after Gruden voicing his support, the team and Haslett have announced they are paring ways (he was fired).

Nothing like supporting your head coach who stepped out on a public limb to say who HE wanted on his staff.

And the folks in D.C--well, okay, the folks that run the football team and/or team owner Dan "Boy Genius" Snyder--wonder why they've been so very bad for so very long...

Just sayin...
