Joe Webb and Tavarres King stole the show for the Carolina Panthers offense in the preseason game loss to the Buffalo Bills. Webb looked like a mini Cam Newton with the way he ran and passed against the Bills defense.

Tavarres King made sure his hat is in the ring for some serious playing time, with four catches for 50 yards in the preseason debut of the Panthers. Rookie wideout Kelvin Benjamin only had one catch but it was a great 29 yard touchdown reception.

Joe Webb completed 16 passes for 180 yards, a touchdown and one interception and also ran four times for 30 yards. This shows once again the Panthers didn't fib when they said Webb is a quarterback and not a wide receiver. Webb won't push Derek Anderson but he may make the Panthers consider using him in some capacity in certain games.

2nd year running back Kenjon Barner had a bad night with 8 carries for 8 yards. Barner better make this team on special teams or I see him being cut before the regular season unless he really steps up, Chris Godfrey who took a pay cut and position change had an off night against the Buffalo Bills as well.
