Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Mike Evans sat during the National Anthem today to protest the election of Donald Trump as President of the United States. Now Evans wasn't moved by police brutality of African Americans but the election of Donald Tump has Evans protesting the anthem.

From Pro Football Talk

“I don’t want to, you know, disrespect the veterans or anything,” Evans said, via JoeBucsFan.com. “The men and women who serve this country, I’m forever indebted to them. But the things that’s been going on in America lately, I’m not going to stand for that. When Ashton Kutcher comes out and says we’ve been punked, then I’ll stand again. But I won’t stand anymore.”

Evans apparently got some negative feedback from the fans which is ok. Evans has the right to protest the President of the United States and fans have the right to protest him. Colin Kaepernick who started the whole disrespect the anthem business didn't even bother to vote. It is unclear if Mike Evans voted or not.

I think sports may be part of the problem with some of these spoiled young people. When everyone gets a participation trophy then nobody learns to lose with class. Evans is just pouting lot a lot of other young Americans these days.
