My Final Chicago Bears Mock Draft
The NFL Draft is right around the corner. Within 1 day, Chicago Bears will find out who will the Bears select 3rd overall. The Chicago Bears did their homework by hosting a local pro day, inviting prospects to meetings and workouts and attending the NFL Combine. Ryan Pace addresses the media that there are variety prospects that they could choose.
st Round: S Jamal Adams. Selecting Adams is a safe pick for the Chicago Bears. Vic Fangio wants playmakers. Adams is a playmaking safety who could play all over the field. He is a leader and could make an impact for the Bears secondary.
nd Round: QB Deshone Kizer. Mike Glennon signed a 3-year deal with the Bears, but the Bears still need a quarterback for the future. Kizer is a great candidate because he has all the traits of a quarterback. He just needs a year or 2 to adapt to the pro-style offense.
nd Round (Bears trade their 3rd Round pick for the Browns second round pick): OG/OT Dion Dawkins. With Jordan Howard as our running back, the Bears need a quality offensive lineman to help Jordan Howard be efficient for the 2017 season. The offensive lineman is almost complete, but they need one more quality lineman. Dawkins has the potential to be a quality offensive lineman.
rd Round (Bears trade Zach Miller to Bills for Bills third round pick): CB Teez Tabor. The Chicago Bears are still upgrading at the cornerback position. Tabor has terrific size, quickness, and ball skills. He drops to a day three prospect because of combine results. Adding him to the mix of the secondary could be great.
th Round: TE Jonnu Smith. Despite Dion Sims, the Bears need a tight end. Jonnu Smith is a tight-end that could do it all. He can block in the run game and also has the hands to catch.
th Round: LB Anthony Walker. With Lamarr Houston battling injuries, the Bears can't afford another season with injuries, Houston might get cut before the season. Walker can add depth the roster at the linebacker position. He could a steal in the draft. He can play in the pass coverage and run defense. He is a locker room leader.
th Round: WR Kenny Golladay. One of the better players coming out of the Chicago area and attending NIU. He is a tall receiver with great speed. He can add depth to wide receiver.
th Round: DE Ifeadi Odenigbo. A pass-rusher from Chicago. He can help the pass-rusher.
