?With the home opener just days a way, the injury bug has hit the Bucs pretty hard. RB Doug Martin will be out at least the next 3 weeks with a hamstring injury. The Bucs have a bye the following and the Bucs are hoping that the extra week will give Martin time to completely heal. Charles Sims will be the no. 1 back in Martin's absence, Jacquizz Rodgers will back Sims up and Peyton Barber will the the third back.

DL Robert Ayers may miss this game with an ankle injury. He would be the third Bucs defensive lineman to go down with an injury this year. It is not believed to be serious, but he could miss the game. Channing Ward  a rookie from Ole Miss would be the 5th lineman if Ayers can't go.

WR Cecil Shorts is banged up. The Bucs added  WR Freddie Martino to the roster from the practice squad. Martino has 1 game under his belt as a professional. That game coming with Atlanta in 2014.

OL Donavon Smith missed practice today with a hip injury. Evan Smith is most likely to replace him. With LB Josh keyes out, Davonte Bond should get his first action of the season. He was banged in the preseason and should be ready to go.
