Tim Alexander's Takes A Stand In His Fight To Walk Again
Ten years ago, Tim Alexander was a high school football star with a bright future. Then, in an instant, it was gone. On Oct. 28, 2006, Alexander was involved in a car accident that left him paralyzed from the chest down. One minute he could run like the wind, the next minute he couldn't walk. However, being confined to a wheel chair did not destroy his dreams of being a football player, or making a difference in other people's lives. Alexander went on to become a member of the University of Alabama-Birmingham football team, and an inspiration to many.
"After 10 years of never giving up and keeping the faith, I am finally able to stand on my own! Ten years and STILL believe I WILL WALK AGAIN!."
It is amazing how such a small feat can have such an enormous impact. Tim Alexander's perseverance and willingness to fight, is a lesson for us all to live by.
